In this show, we'll have a chat with Josef and Vlad from PAPRIKA BALKANICUS who are playing at the East Brunswick Hotel, 280 Lygon Street, East Brunswick on Thurday 2nd April.
"The guys from Romania, Serbia and Slovenia on violin, guitar, bass and accordions play a fiery and passionate blend of traditional and Gypsy music from the Balkans and Eastern Europe. Their traditional Gypsy music is like a rollercoaster of emotions - from gentle, fragile melodies which bring back early childhood memories to thunderous fiery tempos, appropriate for dancing with the Devil".

We'll also have a chat with Ajak Kwai, who, together with her band, will be part of the pre-show entertainment for the Tinariwen comncert at the Hamer Hall on Wedneday 8th April.
Since her arrival in Australia, Ajak has worked with a number of ensembles and as a soloist. She brings an exciting African vocal style and repertoire, given a contemporary treatment by the local musicians who work with her. In performance, Ajak is a thoroughly engaging artist with a compelling vocal style and a delightfully wry sense of the absurd! She has released two successful CDs so far:
